    The Residential District of Dubai South covers an area of 6.7 million sq. km. It lies in proximity to a few commercial areas of Dubai and right close to the World Expo 2020 site. The Residential District consists of 2 main areas. The first being The Villages which is composed of villas, townhouses, apartments and other residential amenities. The second is The Pulse, a self-sustainable community with townhouses, apartments, hotels, a shopping mall and a boulevard planned.
